This policy outlines our data handling practices and your rights regarding your personal information, specifically designed to be compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information we obtain automatically when you visit our Services, and information from third-party sources.

  • User Content: We collect and process the videos, audio recordings, transcripts, and blog content you create, upload, or generate using our Services. This includes video recording data stored for playback and editing.

8. Google API Services & User Data

ReelConvo uses Google OAuth to connect to Google Sheets and Google Search Console to provide you with enhanced features. Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Google Sheets Access: We create new spreadsheets in your Google Drive to export keyword research data. We do not read, modify, or delete your existing spreadsheets.
  • Google Search Console Access: We read website performance data (such as clicks, impressions, and keyword rankings) solely to provide SEO insights within ReelConvo.
  • Data Storage: Google OAuth tokens are stored securely in our database and are used exclusively to authenticate API requests on your behalf. We do not store the contents of Google Sheets or raw Google Search Console data beyond what is displayed in the app.
  • Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer Google user data to third parties.
  • Revocation & Deletion: You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the Settings page within ReelConvo, or by revoking access through your Google Account permissions. Upon disconnection, we immediately delete your stored OAuth tokens from our systems.

9. International Data Transfers

Our Services are hosted in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers locate.

We rely on standard contractual clauses (SCCs) and adequacy decisions where applicable to ensure your data is protected in compliance with GDPR requirements during international transfers.

10. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the EEA or UK, you have the following data protection rights:
